Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction General Laborer to assist our Driller Operators in various tasks on construction and drilling sites. This role is essential to ensuring smooth and efficient operations, with responsibilities ranging from equipment handling to material preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller Operators with daily tasks to support drilling operations.
• Mix and prepare grout and other materials as needed.
• Transport, organize, and stage equipment and tools around the job site.
• Fuel and maintain drilling equipment under supervision.
• Handle and reposition hoses used in drilling operations.
• Load and unload materials and supplies.
• Perform site cleanup and ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in construction.
• Concrete handling knowledge.
• Drilling operations familiarity.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed, including occasional travel to Illinois and Indiana.

Work Environment

The position involves working on construction and drilling sites, requiring physical labor and the ability to operate in various weather conditions. Safety protocols are strictly adhered to, ensuring a secure working environment. The role may involve occasional travel to job sites in Illinois and Indiana, although the majority of work will be near STL.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
