Job Description We’re looking for a versatile copywriter with experience in both highly regulated industries, such as health or pharma, as well as more conceptual creative advertising. An ideal candidate can take projects and run with them, has a knack for distilling complex info into understandable and engaging messaging, can strike the right balance between technical and creative thinking and is comfortable working with leaders at all levels. The copywriter role is part of the Creative team and supports Marketing Innovation & Corporate Brand (MICB) . We are a hands-on group of creative practitioners across all brand touch points, who see every interaction with consumers as an opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with them. We are tireless brand champions and consumer advocates who set the standards of excellence for communication and design at Allstate. We are the writers, designers, art directors, and producers who activate our vision, voice, and story in ways that provide consumers with meaningful experiences, content, and communications. Focus areas Health and insurance Write and update collateral, such as websites, brochures, flyers, and email campaigns for insurance agents and other stakeholders Translate technical, highly regulated product information into clear, accurate copy Work with technical briefs, proactively seeking clarity from stakeholders Apply product knowledge to ensure copy meets compliance and legal standards Collaborate with project managers using existing tools and workflows Creative content Contribute to brand campaigns, digital content, social media Collaborate with designers and other writers on multi-channel creative work Bring fresh concepts, voice, and ideas to a variety of audiences and platforms Help shape narratives that connect emotionally while meeting business goals Qualifications Experience 2–5 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in regulated industries (health, pharma, finance, insurance) and creative marketing Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences Comfortable working with limited direction and creative oversight Strong research and problem-solving skills Experience with individual health insurance (i.e., Medicare Supplement, short-term medical, other health riders) a plus Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities Summary A role that blends precision with creativity Opportunity to work in an in-house agency setting while expanding your portfolio Supportive team environment with room to learn, experiment, and grow Skills Creative Marketing, Creative Thinking, Creativity, Professional Copywriting Compensation Compensation offered for this role is $62,800.00 - 114,175.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
