The Insurance Package Configuration Analyst is responsible for supporting revenue cycle success by following established workflows and identified best practices to create insurance packages and maintain the athenaOne insurance package library.
The Analyst serves as a core contributor to the daily coordination and execution of tasks required to achieve team goals. Your contributions help to ensure daily operations are properly prioritized, processes are functioning properly, and exceptions/escalations are accounted for, communicated & resolved in a timely manner, according to department policies, procedures, and work requirements.
Your responsibilities may include analysis and appropriate resolution of work within the expected timeframe, identifying trends through observation and investigation, and escalating opportunities for improvement. You will work as a support resource for your peers and may serve as a mentor and trainer.
Analyst Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Task-Based Work
Builds and maintains expert subject matter knowledge of work area processes to be a resource for internal stakeholders.
Works independently and prioritizes work effectively to ensure completion of assigned tasks within specified turnaround times and adhering to established goals
Possesses a high level of attention to detail and holds self to equally high-quality standards
Trend Identification/Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Owns workflows as assigned by leadership
Demonstrates flexibility & adaptability and implements appropriate solutions to new problems
Identities and surfaces workflow inconsistencies to support positive performance results and continuous improvement initiatives
Creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) or documented workflows to support the timely and accurate completion of work, either independently, or supporting Service Integrity
When required, meets with internal stakeholders and customers to gain perspective on opportunities for improvement, assist with issue resolution, and promote an understanding of operations of assigned line of business
Training & Professional Development
Participates in training and support for new staff additions within assigned work area
