Job Description
Summary of Position:
- The Store Manager (KIC) will oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Major Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
Kreation Krew
- Supervise, coach, and train Krew members on guest service, safety, and sanitation procedures, providing immediate coaching during each shift.
- Search, select, assist in hiring, retain, and develop high-caliber Krew members; foster a friendly, positive, helpful, and team-oriented environment, respecting all Krew members and guests, and continuously learning new skills.
- Ensure all Krew members are trained and certified for their roles within two weeks of starting.
- Ensure compliance with meal period and rest break guidelines, including the submission of break waivers when applicable.
- Promote a safe and sanitary culture by leading by example; recognize positive behaviors, coach negative behaviors, and address safety or sanitation concerns immediately.
- Delegate responsibilities to ensure complete store coverage and efficiency.
- Cross-train in all store functions to serve as a backup when needed.
- Review new processes and implementations with Super KIC, evaluate performance, conduct reviews, and administer corrective actions with support from Super KIC & HR.
- Manage downtime effectively by delegating tasks such as deep cleaning and adjusting labor as necessary.
Kreation Service
- Lead by example, embodying Kreations service standards, greeting guests warmly, making eye contact, and offering assistance.
- Ensure all guests feel welcomed and receive prompt, friendly, and courteous service; acknowledge waiting guests and offer samples.
- Coach team members on proactive service techniques, including upselling, cleanliness programs, and introducing new offerings.
- Ensure proper store banking procedures, communicate and follow up on procedural errors, and report cash discrepancies immediately.
- Motivate the team using current bonus or incentive programs and utilize bonus trackers.
Kreation Selection
- Train team members on FIFO rotation, product filling, merchandising, and proper disposal of expired products.
- Ensure products are received correctly and in good condition, report discrepancies, and follow receiving policies.
- Monitor and manage PAR levels daily, adjusting based on sales trends, weather, events, waste, and finished stock; document waste properly.
- Ensure bottle returns are processed correctly through POS and documented.
Kreation Style
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper functioning through inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to Look & Feel guidelines regarding signage, uniforms, music, and overall store vibe and culture.
- Keep the store facade and outside seating areas clean, reporting issues to maintenance promptly.
Kreation Excellence
- Fully understand and implement all policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
- Consistently prepare and serve food and products according to recipes and standards.
- Achieve objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, and sanitation through employee training and positive work environment.
- Handle cash and receipts following proper procedures and report issues immediately.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations.
- Implement Kreation marketing, advertising, and promotional activities as instructed.
- Report operational issues promptly and follow up on solutions.
- Respond to emails timely, communicate updates, and ensure team acknowledgment of memos.
- Manage discounts properly, including employee meals.
- Process tips, approve time cards daily, and submit payroll bi-weekly.
- Conduct weekly Look & Feel and maintenance checklists.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
Position Requirements: Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years experience in hospitality, customer service, food, and beverage.
- Hospitality degree preferred.
- Problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Current knowledge of industry standards and practices.
- Ability to submit daily End of Day reports and review locations EOD reports.
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Leadership and training abilities.
- Flexible and team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements in Accordance with ADA:
- Carrying/Lifting: Up to 25 lbs.
- Standing: Up to 8 hours.
- Sitting: Up to 3 hours per day.
- Walking: Up to 5 hours.
- Repetitive motions: Keyboard, telephone.
- Visual acuity: Read computer screens with or without corrective devices.
- Environment: Kitchen, caf, retail.
- Other: Ability to hear and speak for phone use.
