Finalis is a fast-growing, VC-backed startup transforming private capital markets. Launched in 2020 and growing rapidly, the firm is on a mission to power dealmakers by building the worlds largest, ai-native dealmaking platform. Though we have bases in SF and NYC, were fully remote.

What about your team?

As a Product Manager at Finalis, you will own a business area within the product, lead the creation and execution of the product strategy, and drive a diverse cross-functional team. Our product is at a high-growth stage and you will need the ability to navigate an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. Youll be working closely with our CEO, CPO, and world-class engineering team to create products that delight our customers and deliver value to every participant in the private capital markets ecosystem.

As a Sr Product Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for our platform. You will be given autonomy and responsibility for driving initiatives that deliver value both for our users and our business. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance operations (or willingness to learn), a passion for building elegant technical solutions, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.

Our near-term goal is to become the default software platform for any boutique or independent investment banker. To help us reach that goal, you will help us develop products that delight our users across our three pillars - compliance, data, and payments.

• Define, own, and deliver business-level objectives and product strategy for our data, compliance, and payment products by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, growth opportunities, and industry trends.

• Decisively solve problems through tenacious learning about our customers and internal processes - communicating the solutions and turning them into business opportunities.

• Productize and lead new product initiatives, ensuring high-quality, timely execution.

• Communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Sales, Business Operations, Engineering, Product Design, and Compliance to ideate, develop and launch new products and features.

• Identify unmet needs and markets that the company can pursue.

• Synthesize quantitative data analysis with qualitative user research results to make informed product decisions.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-7 years of product management experience within a startup environment

• Experience working in Fintech or heavily regulated software platforms, launching new products from scratch.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and create actionable solutions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working closely with engineering teams on technical architecture and implementation details.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with b2b SaaS products and preparing platforms for external customers.

• Experience shipping complex financial infrastructure products, ideally involving financial systems, accounting, reconciliation, or payment processing.

• Experience in investment banking or a similar field.

• Strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles is highly desirable. Proven ability to define and execute product strategy for a technical platform, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term architectural vision.

How does Finalis work?

We are a fully-remote company with Finalists distributed between the time zones of Eastern Standard Time and Eastern European Time .

If youre located outside this time zone range, depending on the needs of your team, you may be requested to be available during specific hours.

Although we dont have an official physical place to work, we promote gathering with your team or other colleagues whenever possible.
