Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The staff physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing outpatient care to GI and Hepatology patients at Uhealth Doral and/or Sol Mia in North Miami (9 half days). Sol Mia is opening in Fall 2025. The physician will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, including screening procedures for Gastroenterology/Hepatology.

Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral / Sol Mia
• Rotate on night and weekend on-call duties at UHT and JMH, proportionate to other physicians
• Rotate on inpatient services at UHT or JMH, proportionate to other providers

Qualifications:

• MD Degree with ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency, and GI fellowship
• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or eligible)
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology / Hepatology (or eligible)
• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligibility to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
• Valid DEA licensure
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Must provide prerequisite case logs for procedures performed in the prior two years for credentialing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
• Maintain CME to meet licensing requirements
• Excellent clinical knowledge and experience to ensure safe, quality patient care
• Timely communication within 72 hours
